Bschlacht Loop Straubing
Great circular route over the town square and the town tower of Straubing, down to the Herzogschloss and via the Pilgrimage Path to the wonderful Bschlacht, which separates the old and the new Danube. Via the weir and the Eisweiher it goes back again.
Bschlacht Loop Straubing
Great circular route through Straubing and to the Danube. Start is at Stadtpark Straubing in Regensburger Straße. From there we follow it into the city. Our next destination is the town tower, which can already be seen from afar. Via the town square it goes to Ludwigsplatz and at the end of it we turn left into Burggasse. We follow this to the Herzogschloss and keep right there. Now we can already see the Danube and cross it on the castle bridge. Immediately behind it we turn left onto "Am Gstütt". Shortly after the last house we also reach the Pilgrimage Path, a beautiful avenue leading us to a forest area. From there we go straight ahead and in the end cross a dam. On the other side there is again a forest area where we keep right. Passing the miracle mill we also already reach the Bschlacht, which separates the old and the new Danube. From here it goes on until we reach the weir. There we keep left and cross the Danube again. We now follow the small paved path to the underpass, where we turn right and immediately again left. Straight ahead we soon reach a traffic light at a crossing. Shortly before that we turn right onto a meadow path, which now leads us to the rose garden. There we keep right and follow the main path, which leads us to a stone bridge and to the Eisweiher with viewing tower. After the bridge we keep right and follow the path for 20 meters and turn right again. It now goes up a small slope on a street. At the end we meet Frauenbrünnlstraße, which we now follow to the right. Now it is not far and we reach the entrance to Stadtpark again in Regensburger Str.

Safety information
At the Bschlacht it can be quite slippery when wet. The path runs there on a "rough" cobblestone pavement made of large stones.Tips and suggestions
