A special feature of Hausach is its valley locations. While the core city itself lies in the Kinzig valley between Branden and Farrenkopf at 200 meters, six valleys extend in a north/south direction. One of these is the Breitenbach valley. The hike starts at the parking lot at Kinzigdamm and runs via Husen Castle to Schmids Wanderecke. After Fuggishof follow the yellow diamond and the Nordic walking route no. 30. Towards the end of the route, do not head towards Gutach but downwards to Hausach to the Tannenwald hall. Then through the town back to the starting point, the parking lot at Kinzigdamm.

After the route, you pass through Breitenbachstraße. No. 36 houses the gem "Molerhiisli". This was the home and studio of the Hausach painter and dialect poet Eugen Falk-Breitenbach (1903 - 1979).
