Around Godramstein

We wish you a peaceful hike and lots of fun on this varied circular route of over 6 km. Follow the green dot. (Currently still in progress)

It starts at the forecourt of the Klinck`schen Mühle (in operation until 1962), the village community center of the municipality of Godramstein. Pass to the left of the supermarket, over the bridge at the parking lot to the sports field. Follow the Queichtal bike path, following the bike path symbol. At the Bahnhofstr. bridge shortly turn left at the pedestrian crossing, then cross it to the right. Continue following the Queichtal bike path along the Queich River to the riding meadows. At the third junction, go left up to Godramsteiner Hauptstraße. Cross it and immediately turn right past the "Watts" plant, then left into the vineyards. After the plant, at the first junction turn right towards Landau on the city of Landau's cycling circuit until the bridge over the B10. Here, turn left going north following the vineyard paths to the district road Godramstein-Nußdorf. Cross this and continue north to the cross path, then turn left to the Godramstein pergola. This invites you to rest with a magnificent view of the Haardtrand.

From the pergola, follow the gravel path to the left, then after about 500 m turn right to the district road Godramstein-Böchingen past the drinking water reservoir. (Here, forest water and deep well water are stored, mixed, and kept available for consumers in Godramstein.)

Here, slightly to the right offset to the other side of the road, follow the vineyard path east towards the Palatinate Forest. At the cross path, turn left towards Godramstein to the lone house, a small property, then from there turn right downhill to the stream and follow it left on the right side of the stream until the L511 Siebeldingen – Godramstein. At the bridge, cross the L511 and follow the vineyard path on the right next to the stream to the next junction, then turn left.

Follow the path along the gardens to the edge of town and at the end turn left to the L511. (In the future, a bridge across the Queich through the forest to the sports field is planned on the right.) Follow the footpath on the right side of the L511 back to the starting point, the Klinck`schen Mühle. Finally, a snack with a wine tasting at one of the nearby winemakers is recommended by arrangement.
