From Passering station, the trail first leads along a terrain terrace down the Gurktal valley and then over the terrain saddle of Rottenstein across into the Längsee basin to St. Georgen Abbey. The second crossing runs over the ridge of the Buchberg into the Launsdorf basin to St. Georgen am Längsee station.
