Key points of the route
From St. Georgen am Längsee station, the trail leads over the ridge of the Buchberg into the Längsee basin to St. Georgen Abbey. From there, the route continues over the next ridge - past St. Peter - into the St. Veiter basin and up to the castle cone of Taggenbrunn Castle. The final descent is to St. Veit an der Glan, to the train station of the same name.
