The shortest distance of the Mátrabérc performance hikes represents the entry level and is a comfortable alternative for those who want to try this form of hiking at a well-organized, prestigious event.
The youngest member of the Mátrabérc performance hikes, organized since 2017, the Koncsúr circuit remains under 15 km. It thus offers an opportunity for those who have not yet become familiar with this form of hiking and want to try a well-organized event on a surely manageable distance, on easy but still sporty terrain.
The Koncsúr circuit starts and finishes in Szurdokpüspöki. The first half of the hike leads through valley roads and hills, as well as a stream valley, then turns up onto the Muzsla ridge. It does not reach the main peak but immediately returns towards the starting point, offering a short taste of the Mátra ridge hiking atmosphere and panoramas. Keeping the time limit requires a disciplined pace.
