Kleblach-Lind - Sachsenburg short route
Explore the valley floor of the eastern Upper Drau Valley on foot – mainly along the Drau Cycle Path.
Surrounded by the foothills of the Gailtal Alps in the south and the last elevations of the Kreuzeck group in the north, this hike leads to the hilly landscape by the Drau bow in Sachsenburg – behind which the imposing peaks of the Reisseck and Schober groups rise.

Roadbook
At the train station in Kleblach Lind, head east, cross the Drau bridge, and follow the long street to the center of Lind. From here, always follow the signs of the Drau Cycle Path towards Sachsenburg. After the last houses of the village of Lind, the extensive meadows begin, later turning into a wooded area. The narrower the valley becomes here, the more the path hugs the hill to the south. Shortly before Sachsenburg, the path runs directly between the Drau and the densely vegetated and steep walls. After crossing the Drau bridge, the station is already on the right side.
