You start your route in Silz, at Silzer Lake, on the Klingbach cycle path, which leads you to Klingenmünster. There you switch to the German Wine Route cycle path and ride through Bad Bergzabern to Schweigen-Rechtenbach. In Bad Bergzabern, you can cycle through the historic old town or make a quick visit to the spa park. The German Wine Gate in Schweigen-Rechtenbach lies directly on your way and offers a great view into the neighboring country, which you can head straight through via the wine gate. Upon arriving in Wissembourg, you meet the Lauter Valley cycle path in the town center. The picturesque old town with a French flair, featuring St. Peter and Paul Church and its small cafés, invites you to linger. Along the Lauter, you cycle through several small villages and then switch back to the Klingbach cycle path in Dahn-Reichenbach, which takes you back to your starting point.

- Please keep your dog on a leash at all times. Other visitors and animals will thank you.
- Observe all path closures for your own safety, even on weekends.

Safety information
Our cycle routes often run on paths shared with others. We therefore ask for always considerate and friendly interaction. Winemakers, farmers, and foresters use the farm roads through fields, forests, and vineyards for their daily work (also on weekends) and always have priority. Due to work activities and/or weather conditions, these paths can also be dirtier at times. Special caution is also advised when cycling on the (mostly quiet and little trafficked) roads in and around Palatinate villages.Tips and suggestions
