An exciting route leads the whole family through vineyards, forest, and meadows across the varied landscape of the Palatinate.
The cycle path begins at Silzer See and initially follows the Klingbachweg. It runs along the Klingbach and takes you through Münchweiler to Klingenmünster. Those who wish can visit Burg Landeck from here and stop for refreshments. In Klingenmünster, you briefly join the Deutsche Weinstraße cycle path and turn right into Lettgasse. Follow this until you leave the town, then turn left at the first junction. Now ride straight through the vineyards until you turn left again at the second intersection and meet the Deutsche Weinstraße cycle path again. After another 500m, you cross the B48 and follow the signs for the Burgentour towards Waldhambach and Waldrohrbach to Völkersweiler. You leave the Burgentour and cycle along the road to Gossersweiler-Stein until you reach Silzer See again. If you then feel like an animal adventure, you can visit the Wild and Wanderpark in Silz.
WATCH OUT! - Campaign for considerate behavior in nature
- Always behave considerately, kindly, and attentively towards everyone you meet on the way.
- Respect nature, do not destroy plants, and always stay on the paths. Try to avoid excessive noise and leave the forest before dusk.
- Remember to take a rubbish bag for on the go and take your waste home with you.
- Please keep your dog on a leash at all times. Other visitors and animals will thank you.
- Follow all path closures for your own safety, including weekends.
- Park only in designated parking areas. Leave space for emergency vehicles and agricultural machines.
- Give priority to agricultural and forestry traffic.

Bäckerei GlaserSafety information
Our cycle routes often run on paths shared with others. Therefore, we ask for considerate and friendly behavior at all times. Winemakers, farmers, and foresters use the farm roads through fields, forests, and vineyards for their daily work (also on weekends) and always have priority. Due to work operations and/or weather, these paths can also be more heavily soiled at times. Special caution is also advised when cycling on the (mostly quiet and little-traveled) roads in and around the Palatinate villages.
