A true challenge for training and competition.
The Ritzensee WM trail has already hosted the Junior World Championships in 1988 and 1999, as well as the Military World Championships in 2000 and several World Cups. 3.4 km difficult, constantly changing, strongly hilly terrain, partly through forest, but also offers beautiful panoramic views of the Steinernes Meer. Start and finish at the Ritzensee cross-country ski stadium. Snowmaking system available.

BY BUS
The starting point at the cross-country ski stadium in Saalfelden can be reached by the Postbus from the Saalfelden town center. The bus stop "Saalfelden Ritzensee" is located very close to the trail entry point. Further information can be found at https://fahrplan.salzburg-verkehr.at/

Directions
BY CAR
Coming from Zell am See on the Pinzgauer federal road B311, turn right at the second roundabout towards Maria Alm. Follow the road for about 750 m through the Saalfelden town center. Turn right and cross the Brandl bridge towards Ritzensee. Follow the road until after about 700 m on the left side the Hotel Ritzenhof appears, turn right here. After about 100 m, the cross-country ski stadium as well as parking spaces and the trail entry point are located on the left side, slightly elevated.
