High above Leukerbad, the alpine cross-country trail loops over the Daubensee and the Gemmi plateau. With the impressive mountain scenery, a winter highlight for cross-country skiing fans.
The Gemmi Bahn takes you up to the Gemmi plateau, where an impressive panorama awaits you. From the upper station, take the shuttle down to the Daubensee, from where the cross-country trail starts heading north. You can choose between a 7 and a 5 kilometer trail, both covered in powder snow. The Gemmi is ideal for cross-country skiers who want to pursue their passion in a relaxed, natural setting. Under good weather conditions, the trails are prepared daily for classic cross-country skiing and skating. Surrounded by the snow-covered peaks of the Valais and Bernese Alps, you can enjoy an incomparable winter paradise here. After the sport, the Berghotel Gemmi offers a place to refresh and invites you to linger with regional specialties.
