For over a hundred years, the Vennbahn was the iron connection between the coalfields of Aachen and northern Luxembourg. The former industrial link brought prosperity and progress with its trains. Today, rails and sleepers have given way to a relaxing cycle route in this unique landscape along the German-Belgian border. Follow on your cycle route through the Eifel the valleys of Sauer, Prüm, Nims, Enz, Kyll and Moselle. Along vineyards, hop fields and orchards you can already recognize the ingredients that will be refined on your plate and in your glasses in the evening. Your natural doping water from the mineral and carbon springs of the Volcanic Eifel.
