Coming from the east on the A 650 (toward Mannheim / Ludwigshafen):- Take the A 650 toward Bad Dürkheim—follow the sign for Bad Dürkheim Kuranlagen/Saline/Salinarium—after about 5 km, you’ll see the town sign for Bad Dürkheim- On the right, you’ll see a hill with a small chapel; on the left, the graduation tower—after passing the graduation tower, you’ll see a large parking lot called “Wurstmarktplatz”—at the roundabout, turn left into the parking lot—the starting point is at the southern end of the lot, next to the Tourist Information office
Coming from the B 37 from the direction of Kaiserslautern:
- Continue straight on the B 37 into Bad Dürkheim, past the giant barrel until you reach the Wurstmarkt roundabout—at the roundabout, turn right into the parking lot—the starting point is at the southern end of the square, next to the Tourist Information office

At the Wurstmarktplatz (mostly paved) in Bad Dürkheim, St. Michaels-AlleePlease park only in the designated parking areas and be sure to keep access roads clear for emergency vehicles, as well as work routes through the forest and vineyards. For overnight stays in campers and caravans, there are RV sites explicitly designated for this purpose.
