Touristikgemeinschaft Odenwald
If you want to conveniently arrive for your bike ride by S-Bahn, you will find ideal entry points at the stops in Neckargerach, Mosbach, and Elztal-Dallau to the Three Valleys Route, which winds for approximately 55 km through the Neckar, Elz, and Seebach valleys.
The cycle path leads past unspoiled corners of the Odenwald that display a changing palette of colors from spring to autumn. Whether the romantic ruins and castles in the Neckar valley, the Museum at the Odenwald Limes in Neckarburken, the water castle from the 14th century in Dallau in the Elz valley, or the small fort "Hönehaus" in Fahrenbach and the beautifully located Roberner See in the Seebach valley – there is interesting and noteworthy to discover around every corner.
During the summer months, the gastronomy welcomes touring cyclists and day-trippers into their beer gardens and will serve you hearty “Radler” fare.
Author’s recommendation
The old town of Mosbach is definitely worth a visit. A walk to the Margaretenschlucht gorge in Neckargerach is also worthwhile.
