Attention water lovers!
At the end of this route, you can wonderfully cool off with a visit to the Südsee 3 beach pool or the Mengen outdoor pool, making the route twice as fun.
The circular route leads from Mengen-Rulfingen past the Zielfinger Lakes to Krauchenwies, through the princely park and further via Göggingen and Menningen to Engelswies, where you have already covered about half the distance. If you wish, you can visit the pilgrimage church "To the Sorrowful Mother of God" here. Then it goes back via Vilsingen and Inzigkofen. Here it is worth visiting the monastery, the farmers' museum, as well as taking a detour to the Princely Park to the "Amalienfelsen" or to the Hanging Bridge. It continues via Laiz, past the Henselmann art museum to Sigmaringen. A visit to Hohenzollern Castle is definitely part of it. Those looking for something adventurous in addition to culture will find it at the high ropes course/climbing park. The final stage now leads via Sigmaringendorf, past the Waldbühne natural theater, back to Mengen-Rulfingen. The catering establishments at the Zielfinger Lakes invite you to culinary indulgence after the route.
