Stadt Sigmaringen
Das Schloss Sigmaringen, Wahrzeichen der Stadt, zeigt mit seinem heutigen Ausbau eindrucksvoll die geschichtliche Entwicklung von einer mittelalterlichen Burg zu einem fürstlichen Residenzschloss. Es ist seit 1535 Sitz der Grafen und späteren Fürsten von Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen.
Entdecken Sie während einer Schlossführung das Schloss des Fürsten von Hohenzollern und seine fast tausendjährige Geschichte des Hauses. Sehenswert sind unter anderem die prachtvoll ausgestatteten Residenzsäle mit ihrer unveränderten Ausstattung an kostbaren Möbeln, Porzellane, Miniaturen, Uhren, kostbaren Gobelins und Gemälden. Außerdem bietet das Schloss eine der größten privaten Waffensammlungen Europas mit ca. 3.000 Objekten.
