From the Lühe landing stage, the route runs towards Stade along the Elbe dike, always keeping the river in sight. Past Hollern-Twielenfleth with its lighthouse and the Venti Amica windmill, the route follows the Schwingedeich dike to the Hanseatic city of Stade. The picturesque half-timbered town invites you to stroll before heading parallel to the railway tracks further to Agathenburg. Agathenburg Castle features changing exhibitions. A few kilometers further is the Handicraft Museum in Horneburg. Along the Lühe, the path winds into the Altes Land orchard. Via Neuenkirchen, Guderhandviertel, and Mittelnkirchen, it goes to Steinkirchen. On the way back to the Lühe landing stage, the Hogendiek Bridge is a popular photo stop.
