Urlaubsregion Altes Land am Elbstrom
Im alten Twielenflether Leuchtturm von 1893 im Obstgarten Altes Land können Schiffsmodelle aus der Zeit des Leuchtturmbaus bis heute bestaunt werden. Das Wahrzeichen hat beinahe 100 Jahre lang den Schiffen auf der Niederelbe den Weg gewiesen. Von der Aufnahme des Leuchtbetriebes im Jahre 1893 bis zur Ablösung durch einen modernen Nachfolger am 12. Oktober 1984 (auf dem Foto zu sehen) passierten die unterschiedlichsten Schiffe Hollern-Twielenfleth. Heute erhalten Sie hier einen Überblick über die Vielfalt und Entwicklung der Schifffahrt. Public transport
Die nächste Bushaltestelle - Twielenflether Freibad - liegt ca. 300 m vom Twielenflether Leuchtfeuer entfernt. Von dort fährt die Buslinie 2051 nach Stade und Steinkirchen.
Von Mitte April bis 03. Oktober wird die Haltestelle zusätzlich an Wochenenden und Feiertagen vom Elbe-Radwanderbus angefahren.
