Route: Weimar Station – follow the Laura cycle path out of town – Schöndorf North – keep left onto Prinzenschneise – follow to the Obelisk – continue on Blutstraße – keep right onto Waldstraße – Ettersburg Castle – turn west towards Hottelstedt → on weekends, a detour to Ballstedt to the country hotel “Zur Tanne” (approx. 2 km/route) is worthwhile – Ottstedt a.B. – keep left at the end of town – Niederzimmern – follow the cycle path of the Thuringian City Chain on the left – past the Hopfgarten reservoir (fishing water) – Hopfgarten – Tröbsdorf – Weimar → Tourist information at the marketplace – Goetheplatz – Stéphane-Hessel-Platz – Weimar Station
