Follow the trail of the traditional Bollenhut, a headgear that has been part of the women's costume in Gutach, Kirnbach, and Reichenbach since about 1750. Cycle on to Hornberg, but "caution!": According to the story of the Hornberg shooting, visitors were once greeted here with gunpowder and heavy artillery.
Author’s recommendation
Straw is needed to make the Bollenhut. One of the straw makers wandered after her death. She was eventually trapped in an egg buried under a rock.

- At the forest fork, follow the district road down to the left towards Kirnbach and about 300 m further, at the pond, turn left and pass the Simmishansenhof and Kreuzhof through the "Grafenloch" downhill to Kirnbach.
- At "Talstraße" (K5361), turn left on this road and through the village.
Kirnbach - Gutach 9.5 km (36.5 km)
- Follow Talstraße through Vor Kirnbach. About 200 m after crossing the tracks, turn left and cross the Kinzig river. After the bridge, turn left and follow the Kinzig Valley bike trail towards Hausach.
- At the bike trail junction after crossing the Kinzig, continue straight towards Gutach.
- Then turn left to Breithauptshof and there right (after the gas station) into "Hirschgasse". After going under the tracks, turn left and follow them for about 3 km.
