3-Country Bike Path - Gourmet Route

The start is at the canoe entry point at the Raab bridge in Neumarkt/R. We ride westward on the bike path left of the Raab and follow the signposting “3-Country Bike Path”.

At St. Martin/R., the bike path leads under Federal Road 57, after a short stretch to the right of the federal road, we turn left, pass under the federal road again and reach Doiber. At the first intersection turn right and then immediately left again. After about 5 km we arrive at the Jostmühle in Windisch-Minihof and immediately after turn left into the village. At the Hirtenfelder inn, we turn right and reach Minihof-Liebau, then Tauka. In Tauka, we follow the old federal road and after about 2 km (steep climb!) reach the former small border crossing (at the Mertschnigg inn) to Slovenia. Just after the border, keep left, we ride through a small forested area and at the next intersection turn left. We arrive at Kuzma, in the village center we briefly turn right, then immediately left again (at the Gaberszek inn) and after 2 km reach Dolic. This is followed by a steep, winding climb through a forested area and we reach Martinje. In Martinje, the cemetery is on the right and the tennis courts are on the left. After leaving Martinje, turn left and reach the former small border crossing SLO-Hungary. From here, the path (about 15 km) to Alsoszölnök is mostly downhill. ATTENTION: partly quite steep! In the village center of Alsoszölnök, turn left and after a few hundred meters have the cemetery on the left side. Soon we reach the former small border crossing Austria-Hungary and then back to Neumarkt/R. In the village center, turn right towards Jennersdorf and return to our starting point Raab bridge.
