Die Abteilung Tourismus vom Amt für Wirtschaft und Mobilität des Landratsamts Waldshut kümmert sich als Koordinationsstelle um die Fernwanderwege Albsteig Schwarzwald und Schluchtensteig. Erwandern Sie in 119 km den Qualitäts-Wanderweg Schluchtensteig, der mit dem Zertifikat des deutschen Wanderverbandes ausgezeichnet ist. Der Albsteig Schwarzwald ist ebenso als Qualitäts-Wanderweg ausgezeichnet und führt auf 83 km entlang der Alb von Albbruck im bis an den Feldberg. Außerdem gibt es 16 Radrundtouren (RouteWT) mit welchen sich der Landkreis entdecken lässt.
