DAV Sektion Bergland Verified partner
With the Bergland section of the German Alpine Club, we belong with about 700 members to the smaller sections in the Munich area. Our club life is actively shaped by several groups: volunteer tour leaders offer special activities for families, young people, seniors, mountaineers, ski mountaineers, mountain bikers, and climbers. We are active in the Bavarian pre-Alpine region as well as on the main Alpine ridge or in the Dolomites. In addition, there are many joint events such as group trips, campsites, excursions, hut visits, ski tour weeks, or slide lectures. Our club magazine Der Bergländer is published semi-annually, in which we announce the dates of upcoming events and report on the tours of the past season.
Our huts
We have five huts: Two managed ones on the Pürschling and the Brunnenkopf, both in the Ammergau Alps. In addition, there are two unmanaged private houses, also on the Pürschling and the Brunnenkopf. In winter, we lease the Wirtsalm in Chiemgau for ski tours.
Activity
Very pretty, short hike to the large Celtic redoubt at Holzhausen. The square rampart can be impressively circumnavigated in its entirety.
Solitary hike to the wild Hasentalkopf with a light scramble.
