A one-day crossing of the wild Kaunergrat for all those who love to immerse themselves in untouched terrain and deal with route finding and track setting themselves! Additionally, an almost perfect arrangement: the route follows the course of the sun with an east-side ascent and west-side descent (which is advantageous especially during daytime warming), you are allowed to descend more elevation than you gained on the ascent, and you can swing down the lengthy forest road to the Verpeilhütte quickly and contentedly during the descent. This crossing is made possible by good public transport connections from the Inn Valley.
