Through endless forests, along the Zenssee, and across wide open land, this easy mountain bike route leads us into the Uckermark lake district.

This route takes you through endless forests, along idyllic lakes, and through partly sleepy villages. In the process, you cross not only 2 federal states but also 3 districts and will certainly reach your limits. But there are tempting stops at cozy bathing spots and deep in the forest, where the silence is only broken by your heartbeat.

This type of exploration of the landscape allows interrupting a combined hiking and cycling holiday to complement it in a unique way. From the boat perspective, completely new views of the surroundings arise.

Idyllic and almost a little hidden in the middle of the Märkisch pine forest lies the Stübnitzsee, surrounded by hills of the end moraine landscape, where even small climbs have to be mastered.

The south route of the nature park route leads in a wide arc around the largest nature reserve in the Uckermärkische Seen Nature Park – the "Kleine Schorfheide".

Over 217 kilometers, the Märkischer Landweg leads with its 10 stages across the Uckermark and simultaneously through three National Natural Landscapes: the Uckermärkische Seen Nature Park, the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve, and the Lower Oder Valley National Park. The German Hiking Association awarded the Märkischer Landweg the designation "Quality Trail Walkable Germany."
