Csúcsosan emelkedik ki a Pusztavár-hegy, tőle kicsit jobbra a Dobogó-tető lapos tetejét vehetjük ki. Ha kicsit feljebb sétálunk, és a gerincen vezető Kéktúrán haladunk egy kicsit, észak felé, a Karancs irányába is elénk tárul a táj.
A pad mellett infótábla is áll, amely Nógrádsipek látnivalóit mutatja be.

- A buszmegállóból a Rákóczi úton nyugat felé indulva, a Széchenyi utcán balra, majd a Kossuth úton jobbra térve jutunk el a füves pászta alá, amelynek jelzetlen ösvénye vezet el a kilátóhelyig (940 km, 65 m szintemelkedés).
