The Pirschpfad starts at the playground in the village center of Dieterode. On the approximately 1.5 km circular route, children and adults can discover native animals.
17 life-sized animal silhouettes are hidden along the path. These must be found and entered on the map of the flyer available on-site. As a reward for a successful search, there is a certificate to print out. You receive this by scanning the QR code on the last sign.

- The Naturparkzentrum Fürstenhagen with adventure area, treehouse, and the new exhibition "Make it sustainable!" in the former water tower is only a few minutes on foot from the Pirschpfad.
- The Dieteröder Klippen are among the most attractive excursion destinations in the region and can be explored via the eponymous TOP hiking trail

Safety information
Due to the dryness of recent years, many trees have been damaged and are at risk of breaking. Therefore, be cautious when staying in the forest, especially during stronger winds. Do not stay under dead tree crowns. Beech trees in particular tend to have spontaneous branch breaks. Entering the forest is fundamentally at your own risk.
The path is unfortunately not barrier-free due to a staircase and therefore cannot be continuously used with strollers or similar.

Roadbook
The path begins in Dieterode at the central playground. At the nearby bus stop, there is a large information board about the path as well as the flyers with the participation map. Then simply follow the path's symbol towards the former railway embankment.

The newly designed village center in Dorfstraße is unmistakable. There are some parking bays at the roadside there.
