Hecken, Urwald, Klippen und ein Steinbruch: Der Rundwanderweg zu den Dieteröder Klippen führt Wanderer durch verschiedene Lebensräume. Los geht es am Naturparkzentrum in Fürstenhagen. Folgen Sie den Schildern mit der Silberdistel und passieren Sie dichte Heckenlandschaften mit verschiedenen Gehölzen. Allmählich geht die Landschaft in ein Waldgebiet über, in das der Mensch nicht aktiv eingreift. So entsteht hier ein Urwald, in dem die Natur allein den Takt angibt. Nur wenige Meter weiter öffnet sich die Landschaft über den Dieteröder Klippen. Bei klarer Luft sehen Sie weit in den Naturpark und bis zum Thüringer Wald. Der Rückweg führt dann entlang eines alten Steinbruchs und naturnaher Buchenwälder.
