A megállóhely közvetlenül a Királyháza-Diósjenő felé vezető út mellett van. A környéken elsősorban nyaralókat, rendezett kerteket találunk. A megállóhelyen található egy esőbeálló, amely kedvezőtlen időjárás esetén menedéket nyújthat a vonat érkezéséig.

Public transport
- Az állomás a Kemencei Erdei Múzeumvasút vonalán található, amelyen a vonatok áprilistól októberig szombaton, vasárnap és ünnepnapokon közlekednek.
- Ha a vasút nem üzemel, a legközelebbi buszmegálló Kemencén található (Kemence, községháza), ahonnan a K, S és Z jelzés vezet a vasúttal párhuzamos aszfaltúton Csarnapusztáig.

Directions
- A Z jelzésen a Csóványos felől a Magosfán és Godóváron keresztül juthatunk el ide.
- A S jelzés Diósjenő felől a Kámor, a Bugyihó és a Cicőke nevű magaslatokon át vezet a megállóhelyhez.
- A K jelzés ebben az esetben a Börzsönyi Kéktúrát jelenti, amelyen egészen Szobig el lehet jutni Nagybörzsönyön és a Nagy-Gallán át (a másik irányban pedig Kemencén, Bernecebarátin és Drégelyváron át Diósjenőig).
- A P jelzésen Nagybörzsöny felől a Vár-bércen és a Holló-kő csúcsán át érhető el Csarnapuszta.
Parking
- Autóval Kemence felől a vasúttal párhuzamosan futó aszfaltúton érhető el Csarnapuszta megállóhely.
