A bércek közé szorított kemencei Nagy-völgy erdészeti útja mentén forrást és árnyas pihenőt találunk, amely erdei bútorainak köszönhetően kényelmes pikniklehetőséget kínál.
A Börzsöny szívében, az erdészeti út, illetve a Kemence-patak mentén fekvő erdei pihenőhely árnyas ligetében bográcsozásra is alkalmas tűzrakó és padok kaptak helyett, illetve egy félig nyitott faépítménybe is behúzódhatunk csapadékos időben. A nyári melegben kiváltképp vonzó táborhely sátrazáshoz is megfelelő teret biztosít. A Gyeplős-kútból merítéssel lehet vízhez jutni, a Kemence-patak az erdészeti út túloldalán húzódik.
A hűs vizű Gyeplős-forrás, vagy ahogy a palócok nevezik, Gyeplős-kút, nevezetes hely volt a közelben élők számára. Háromszáz évvel ezelőtt a naponta az erdőre járó kemencei fakitermelők és fuvarosok ennél a kútnál merítettek friss vizet. Mire a forráshoz értek a szekerek, a lovak már fáradtak voltak elszökni, ezért bátran közéjük vetették a gyeplőt – írja a pihenőhely táblája.

- A Kemence, Fő utca 183. autóbuszmegállónál kell leszállni a Szob és Drégelypalánk közt közlekedő járatokról.
- Másik irányból érkezve Diósjenő vasútállomásán érdemes leszállni.

- Kemencéről a Nagy-völgyben vezető aszfaltúton, a P kerékpáros jelzést követve jutunk el a forrásig (4,1 km, 88 m szintemelkedés).
- Diósjenőről az aszfalton vezető P kerékpáros jelzésen érhetjük el a forrást (15,6 km, 295 m szintemelkedés).
Parking
- A Kemencei Ifjúsági Táborig be lehet hajtani a kemencei Nagy-völgybe.
- Diósjenőn autóval egészen a Diósjenői Erdei Szabadidőparkig felmehetünk.
