Frequent changes between steep climbs and descents, for example to Saiger Kreuz, at Feldberg, in Todtnauberg, and Muggenbrunn.

May 29/30, 2024: At Vorderfalkau, the route marking will be adjusted to the previous route due to the official cycle path signage of the district.

    Distance 50.5 km
    6:10 h
    1,503 m
    1,273 m
    1,382 m
    806 m
Starting from the station, passing the Hotel Jägerhof, the cycle route leads towards Hochfirst and Saig. Along the Hochfirst slope, you first climb very steeply. You repeatedly catch views of the Titisee below. In the center of Saig, turn right, later passing through Vorderfalkau and Altglashütten-Falkau and after crossing the B 500, turn right towards Bärental. There, cross the B 317 heading towards Bruderhalde and watch for the Raimartihof junction. You comfortably reach, a few hundred meters before Feldsee, the junction towards Feldbergpass. After the steep climb, the route leads from the Caritas house about 300 m to the right towards Feldberger Hof. There, turn left, pass the House of Nature and reach, on a paved small road initially quite steep, the Todtnauer Hütte. Meanwhile, the highest point of the entire route has been reached. After a steep descent on the access road to the hut, do not miss the junction to the right; afterwards, the route continues on comfortable forest roads to Todtnauberg. In the village center, turn right uphill to Radschert and from there continue on forest roads to Muggenbrunn-Oberhäuser. Now follow a relaxed ride until you reach the L 123; from there, it is just under 2 km to the stage destination Wiedener Eck.

    Signage:

On forest paths and side streets, the traditional signage applies: white signs with the red diamond of the Black Forest Club with the bicycle symbol. They are attached to trees or signposts.

On sections that run on official cycle paths – e.g., RadNETZ-BW – route plaques can also be found on the cycle path signs. There, the route is signed along the way by general green cycle path direction arrows.
