A poloskás-bérci Béke-kilátó a Soproni-hegység várostól távolabbi részén, széles hátak és hosszú völgyek vidékén magasodik.
Az alacsony deszkakilátóból a Soproni-hegység a széles hátai fölött a Schneeberg és a Rax gigászi tetőszintje kandikál ki. Balra Brennbergbánya sajátos településszerkezete foltszerűen tölti ki a völgyet: a szénbányász település egyes részei az újabb és újabb aknák köré csoportosultak. Jobbra Görbehalom háztetőit szúrhatjuk ki, és a Brennbergi-völgy végén túl már a Lajta-hegység és a Fertőmelléki-dombság hullámzik.
Sopron közelében a 467 méter magas Poloskás-bércen 1972-ben épült egy nyitott tetejű fa kilátó, ami 22 méter magas volt, ez a keresztségben a Béke-kilátó nevet kapta. A karbantartás hiánya miatt nem élte meg az ezredfordulót. 1993-ban fa részeit elbontották, de az alapja megmaradt, amelyen új kilátó született. Az építmény alacsonyabb lett: mindössze 13 méter magas, járószintje 7,4 méterrel a föld fölött helyezkedik el. Érdekesség, hogy az építésben részt vett az a Kovács Sándor, aki már az első kilátó építésénél is jelen volt.

- A 3 és 3Y jelű soproni helyi buszokkal a Görbehalom, Fehér híd megállóig kell utazni.

- A Fehér híd buszmegállótól a Brennbergi úton kell elindulni Sopron felé - legyünk óvatosak, a forgalom nagy a kanyargós úton! Kb. 300 méter után, egy pihenőhelynél érjük el a K▲ jelzés kiágazását, amin jobbra kell indulni. Ez a turistaút vezet föl a kilátóhoz (2,4 km, 148 m szintemelkedés).
- A Fehér híd megállótól, Görbehalom széléről a K jelzésen is nekivághatunk a kilátó meglátogatásának. A település szélén azonnal jobbra kell fordulni, majd a hegyre kapaszkodva, egy elágazásnál át kell térni balra a K▲ jelzésre. Rövidesen a kilátóhoz érkezünk (2,8 km, 136 m szintemelkedés).
Parking
- Autóval érkezve a Brennberg-völgyi autóspihenőnél érdemes parkolni. Innen csak néhány métert kell tovább sétálni az úton, hogy a balra kiágazó K▲ jelzésre térhessünk.
