Görbehalomtelep határában hűs vizű forrással, padokkal és esőbeállóval nyújt kényelmet a kirándulóknak egy árnyas pihenőhely.
A Sopronhoz tartozó egykori bányásztelep tőszomszédságában, a Rák-patak völgyében, közvetlenül a Fehér híd, illetve a településre bevezető aszfaltút mellett fekszik a tágas és karbantartott pihenőhely. A kiépített forrás kényelmes vízvételezési lehetőséget biztosít a kirándulóknak, és nem utolsósorban az erre vezető Soproni Kéktúra vándorainak. Ugyanakkor jó tudni, hogy a forrás alacsony kifolyócsöve a Rák-patak esetleges áradása idején nem mindig hozzáférhető.
A nagyobb társaságoknak, családoknak padok, asztalok és tűzrakó teszik lehetővé a komfortos feltöltődést, kikapcsolódást, továbbá egy méretes esőbeálló szolgál menedékül zord időjárás esetén. A pihenőhely közvetlen közelében buszmegállót is találunk. A forrásfoglalás 1962-ben készült, 2012-ben újították fel, korábban Fehérhídi-forrás volt a neve.
A forrás névadója, Dr. Fehér Dániel, a 20. század első felében élt, erdőmérnök, mikrobiológus, botanikus és az MTA levelező tagja, nemzetközi hírnevű kutató volt.
