Faoromzatú, hosszúfolyosós, jellegzetes felvidéki házban rendezték be a falu helytörténeti kiállítását.
A tárlat a falu történetével is megismertet bennünket.
Kemencén érdemes felkeresni a Kálvária híres búcsújáró helyét, utazni az egyedi Kemencei Erdei Múzeumvasúton, túrázni a Börzsöny erdeiben, nyáron pedig a Nagy-völgyben csobbanni egyet a strandon.

Public transport
- Vonattal Szobig vagy Drégelypalánkig tudtok utazni. Mindkét településről busszal juthattok Kemencére.
- A Vác/Szob és Drégelypalánk/Bernecebaráti között közlekedő autóbuszról a Kemence, községháza nevű megállóban érdemes leszállni.

Directions
- A buszmegállóból déli irányba induljunk a Fő uctán. A tájházat az út jobb oldalán találjuk (280 m).
Parking
- Kemencét a 12-es útról Szob felől Ipolydamásdon, Letkésen, Ipolytölgyesen és Vámosmikolán át, a 2-es útról pedig Hont felől Parassapusztán és Bernecebarátin keresztül tudjuk megközelíteni.
- A tájháznál az út mentén a KRESZ szabályainak megfelelően ingyenesen tudunk parkolni.
