60 Meter hoher Wasserfall

Im Gebiet des Gnadenbodens rauscht hier der 60 Meter hohe Wasserfall zu Boden. Im Jahre 1850 bereiste der österreichische Beamte, Autor & Topograf Ignaz von Kürsinger den Radstädter Tauern sowie den dahinter liegenden Lungau und schrieb in seinem Buch „Lungau“ seine Erlebnisse nieder. So auch seine Wanderung zum Johanneswasserfall, von dem er mehr als beeindruckt war. Der zu dieser Zeit Erzherzog Johann Wasserfall genannt wurde.
