The | Spicher Ley is a striking rock formation outcrop above Schuld/Ahr and offers a wonderful view from the viewing pavilion

In Schuld, the meander bends of the Ahr have revealed the structure of the Variscan folding multiple times. These rock layers are very characteristic in the area of Spicher Ley and thus represent an impressive natural monument not only for geologists. From the Spicher Ley viewing pavilion, there is a fantastic long-distance view over the idyllic Eifel village of Schuld, stretching to the former tertiary volcano Aremberg, which rises prominently in the background.
