Das Römerboot ist neben dem Prätorianer-Kopf eines der größten Arbeiten des Schlossers und Künstlers Hermann Hollweck. Das Kunstwerk wird in Seebruck, dem ehemaligen Römerort Bedaium erstmals der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert.

Die sechs Meter lange und ca. zwei Tonnen schwere Metallskulptur aus Stahl stellt den Bug und vorderen Teil eines Römischen Fluss-kriegssschiffes dar. Es scheint sich aus der Erde in Richtung des

ehemaligen Bedaius-Tempels im Ortskern zu erheben. Inspiration war für Hollweck der Bootsfund von Oberstimm (Ausgestellt im Kelten- und Römermuseum Manching) und sein Interesse an der römischen Geschichte. Das Kunstwerk steht im kleinen Kurpark von Seebruck mit herrlichem Blick auf den Chiemsee und den Chiemgauer Alpen. Am kleinen Kurpark führt auch der Archäologischer Rundweg vorbei, ein Erlebnisweg für Fahrradfahrer, Wanderer und Geschichtsbegeisterte durch 4000 Jahre Menschheitsgeschichte. Ca. 400 Meter in westlicher Richtung vom Römerboot befindet sich auch noch ein zweites Kunstwerk von Hollweck, der Prätorianer-Kopf.
