A Remete-barlang felé vezető, szintúton harántoló turistaösvény a Szent Mihály-hegy meredeken a Duna fölé magasodó oldalában vezet. Nem csoda hát, hogy több helyen is csodás kilátás tárul elénk.
Az Ördög-hegy rövidke, kiszögellésszerű oldalgerince Nagymaros felől érkezve az első olyan pont, ahol szétnyílik az erdő. A sziklagyepes tisztásról a Dunára, a Visegrádhoz tartozó Lepencére és Gizellatelepre, illetve a Visegrádi-hegységre látunk rá. A panorámát egyértelműen a szemben „ágaskodó” Ágas-hegy és tőle balra, kissé hátrébb az Öreg-Pap-hegy uralja. Ha jobbra tekintünk, a Prédikálószék tömbjét vehetjük szemügyre: magát a csúcsot, illetve a főgerincről a Keserűs-völgybe lefutó, bordaszerű oldalgerincek szabályos rendjét.
A „szökevény” hegy
A Duna fölé meredeken emelkedő Szent Mihály-hegy a Visegrádi-hegység részeként alakult ki, a folyó csak később „fűzte le” róla. A földtörténeti pleisztocén (tehát a „jégkorszak”) elején a Kárpát-medencét nyugat felől feltöltő Duna „eljutott” a Visegrádi-hegységhez, és utat talált annak lepusztult, dombsági magasságú roncsán keresztül, a mai Dunakanyar vonalában. Míg a dombvidék emelkedni kezdett, a Duna egyre mélyebbre vájta magát a vulkáni kőzetekbe, létrehozva ezzel a lassan kiemelkedett Szent Mihály-hegy mai, meredek hegyoldalait.

- A vonatról a Nagymaros vasútállomáson érdemes leszállni.

- A Nagymaros vasútállomástól a S jelzéseket kövessük egészen a SΩ elágazásáig. Itt forduljunk balra (3,2 km, 237 m szintemelkedés).
- A Szamaras utca végétől is az S, majd balra a SΩ jelzések vezetnek el a kilátópontig (1,5 km, 63 m szintemelkedés).
Parking
- Parkolni a Nagymaros vasútállomás meletti utcákban tudunk. Ha minél közelebb szeretnénk jutni kocsival a kilátóponthoz, akkor a Szamaras utca végén tegyük le az autót.
