Der Mangfallpark wurde auf einer Fläche von 13 ha zwischen 2007 und 2010 erbaut, er umfasst Stege, Spielbereiche, eine Kajakstrecke und Ufergestaltungen.
Nur wenige Gehminuten von der Altstadt entfernt erstreckt sich auf dem ehemaligen Landesgartenschaugelände der Mangfallpark etwa 1,5 km den Fluss entlang mit Kinderkajakstrecke, Klettergerüst, Spielplatz und Minigolfplatz. Genießen Sie den herrlichen Ausblick auf das Voralpenpanorama bei einem Zwischenstopp am Innspitz wo die beiden Flüsse Mangfall und Inn zusammenfließen.

"Früher war der Inn ein wichtiger Verkehrs- und Handelsweg, davon zeugen auch die beiden Städte Wasserburg a.Inn und Rosenheim. Besonders am Innspitz in Rosenheim, einer Halbinsel zwischen Mangfall und Inn, kann man sich durch das Kunstobjekt "Historischer Schiffzug" ein Bild davon machen. Wer vom Radeln eine Verschnaufpause braucht, den ruhig dahin fließenden Fluss genießen und dabei Wasservögel beobachten will, dem kann ich den wunderschönen Spaziergang auf dem Skulpturenweg rund um Wasserburg empfehlen.
