Es ist eine Burg wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Sie soll um 1200 erbaut worden sein. Im Mittelalter von Rittern bewohnt, später eine Ruine, ist sie seit 1935 ein Ort für Jugendliche und jung Gebliebene. Sie wurde von Arbeitslosen zu einer Jugendherberge umgebaut und dient heute vor allem Gruppen und Schulklassen als Sitz für ein paar fürstliche Tage in stilechter Atmosphäre. Die Zimmer liegen hinter meterdicken Mauern. Steile, verwinkelte Treppen führen ins Turmzimmer hinauf. Dort wartete einst Napoleons Geliebte auf ihren Helden. So jedenfalls wird es erzählt. Im Rittersaal, wo früher die Edelleute speisten, tafelte schon der Bundesrat. Die Bandbreite von Zimmerangeboten ist in dieser einmaligen Jugendherberge gross. Vom Zweier-Zimmer bis hin zum Zimmer mit 16 Betten und dem Turmzimmer mit zwei Betten. Dusche und WC befinden sich auf der Etage. Fühlen Sie sich wie zu Ritterszeiten. Auf Anfrage wird auch gerne für Sie gekocht.
