The Jakobshorn near Davos Klosters is a versatile mountain peak at an altitude of 2,590 meters that offers numerous outdoor activities in both summer and winter. In winter, around 55 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes, freeride zones and the popular "JatzPark" snow park with kickers and rails await you. The legendary Jatzhütte on the summit is a hotspot for après-ski with panoramic views and party flair. For freestylers and snowboarders in particular, the Jakobshorn has been a fixture on the scene since the 1980s. The world's first ski lift was launched at the foot of the mountain on Bolgen back in 1934 - a milestone in winter sports history. In summer, the mountain is transformed into a paradise for mountain bikers, trail runners, paragliders and hikers. The famous Alps Epic Trail, one of the longest single trails in Switzerland, starts directly at the Jakobshorn. High-alpine hikes such as the ridge hike to the Jatzhorn or the Vertical Trail with 1,000 meters of altitude difference also challenge body and mind. If you prefer something more indulgent, visit the Clavadeleralp with its cheese dairy or relax by the idyllic Stadlersee lake. Paragliders will find ideal starting points here with fantastic thermal conditions. Thanks to modern mountain railway connections and the attractive "Davos Klosters Premium Card", access is uncomplicated and inexpensive. The Jakobshorn is therefore an action-packed adventure mountain with a rich history - perfect for sporty nature lovers.
