The ridge we follow on this rewarding mountain hike separates the Dischmatal from the Sertigtal. It is naturally scenic. We have an unobstructed view in all directions and enjoy close-up views of the Schwarzhorn and Piz Grialetsch as well as distant views of Piz Palü or Tödi. On our hike, we cross several rated and named peaks – a dream tour for "peak collectors," who can also make a short detour (turnoff shortly after the mountain station) to "include" Jakobshorn (2590 m). Also well suited for children accompanied by experienced mountain parents. A small disadvantage understandable from the nature of the hike is that the trail is heavily frequented.
From the valley station of the Jakobshorn cable car up to the mountain station. Now initially descend a bit on the wide path. From the "Jatzhorn" signpost, a small path leads up to the ridge. Follow this ridge over a forepeak to the Jatzhorn, 2682 m. In an exciting hike, it goes over the Rossboden, 2613 m, into a saddle. The Witihüreli, 2635 m, is reached via a small side path. An unnamed peak, 2623 m, offers a nice resting place slightly above the Tällifurgga, which is reached shortly after. From the Furgga, we descend over the partially steep slope on a narrow path into the Sertigtal. At an altitude of about 2100 m, we meet the wide and busy hiking trail coming directly down from the mountain station. Continue on it to the road, which is reached just before the "Zum Bergführer" inn. To the guesthouse in Sertig Dörfli and after a cozy break, take the local bus (line 8) back to Davos-Platz.
