Der Ederplan, hoch über der Ortschaft Lienz gelegen, ist gut besuchter Aussichtspunkt für Wanderer, Bergsteiger, Mountainbiker und Skitourengeher. Die meisten Besucher sind in den Sommermonaten unterwegs. Dementsprechend gut besucht ist das Anna-Schutzhaus des ÖTK, das knapp unterhalb des Gipfels liegt und Ausgangspunkt für den Kreuzeck-Höhenweg ist.
Der beliebte Aussichtspunkte ist vom Zwischenberger Sattel auch für Familien mit Kindern in 1 ½ Stunden erreichbar. Anstelle eines Gipfelkreuzes wurde ein kreuzförmiges Kriegerdenkmal errichtet, das der Toten beider Weltkriege gedenkt.
