Die Hangquellen sind schon auf alten Karten von 1862 verzeichnet. Deren Wasser wurde für die Frischwasserversorgung der Fischzucht verwendet, da das Wasser aus dem nahe durchfliessenden Augraben eher eine Kloake war.
Die Teiche und Weiher rechts und links des Weges vom Stade de l'Au bis zur Zentrale sind meist auch durch Grundwasserquellen gespeist.
