A Kőszegi-hegység 1960-70-es években foglalt vízfakadásainak egyike a Borha-forrás, amely több térképen Borha-kút néven szerepel. A vasfüggöny idején a magyar turisták a hegység magasabb részein lévő célpontjaikat nem közelíthették meg, így a hegylábon és annak közelében folytatták tovább a természetjárást, ennek köszönhető több forrásfoglalás is.
1977. és 1990. között, amikor az Országos Kéktúra az említett okokból kifolyólag csak Velemig tartott, a forrás a Kéktúra igazolópontja is volt. Elnevezése a környező területre utal, de léteznek olyan „magyarázatok” is, hogy a név a „Bor ha folyna belőle, de jó lenne!” felkiáltásból származik. Ennek azonban semmilyen alapja nincsen, pusztán játék a szavakkal.
2015-ben a forrást és környékét felújították, azóta esőbeálló, tűzrakó hely és padok adnak lehetőséget egy kellemes erdei piknikhez. Az egyszerű, kőből épült falon csak a forrás neve látható. A kifolyócsőben elvezetett víz könnyen megközelíthető, a fakadás pedig általában működik. Velem és Cák között kanyarog a Források útja tanösvény, amely a hegység ismert és kevésbé ismert forrásait fűzi fel egy 14 km-es útvonalon; ennek egyik állomása a Borha-forrás.

- Tömegközlekedéssel érkezve a Velem, autóbusz-forduló megállóig utazzunk.

Directions
- A buszmegállóból a Petőfi Sándor utcán futó P jelzést kövessük! Néhányszor keresztezzük az autóutat, majd a balra kiágazó P+ jelzést kövessük egészen a forrásig (1,7 km).
- A hegyalji autóút kanyarjából indulva a P+ jelzést kövessük, 500 méter múlva érkezünk a forráshoz.
Parking
- Autóval Velem felől célszerű érkezni. A Petőfi utcán elhagyjuk a települést, és a Velemi delta nevű elágazás utáni kanyarig vezessünk az úton, ott parkolhatunk le a legközelebb a forráshoz.
