The recreational paradise for the whole family in Lavanttal
Just 5 km south of the town of St. Andrä, nestled between the old riverbed and the regulated flow of the Lavant, next to the Lavantradweg, lies the leisure facility St. Andräer See. The groundwater-supplied gravel lake has been adapted to the existing landscape under the strictest environmental standards. One third of the water area has been designated as a biotope for water preservation. A large part of the existing tree stock could be preserved.

The centerpiece of the facility, opened in 1990, is a 3.5 ha swimming lake with a diving tower, water slide, and non-swimmer area. For our youngest visitors, the facility features a bouncy castle and a children’s water slide.


In addition to a restaurant with a large terrace, the infrastructure of the St. Andräer See leisure facility includes a lakeside stage for various festivals and cultural events, a spacious children's playground, a beach volleyball court, a calisthenics course, and a park chess.

A diverse range of festivals, cultural evenings, children's play festivals, and sports events rounds off the recreational offerings.
