A Badacsony „karimáján” vezető Kuruc körúton haladva több pihenőpontot is érintünk. Ezek egyike a Mária Henrietta-pihenőhely is.
Az itt található asztaltól szép kilátás nyílik a Balaton medencéjére. A pihenőhelyen egy kis emléktábla is áll: Mária Henrietta, József nádor lánya és későbbi belga királyné ifjúkorában ellátogatott Badacsonytördemicre, s többek között ezt a helyet is felkereste. A fiatal hercegnőt lenyűgözte a táj, nagyon jól érezte magát – az utazásról a falu lakossága minden évben emléktúrával emlékezik meg.
