Magyarország egyik legbarátságosabb hangulatú vasútállomása a Győr–Veszprém vasútvonalon, ahol a természetbe érkezik az ember. Az erdő közepi megállóhely turistautak csomópontja.
Porva-Csesznek vasútállomása igazi erdei megállóhely. A kellemes hangulatú állomás igényesen, szépen karbantartott helyszín, amely körül találunk pihenőhelyet, vízcsapot, vasúttörténeti kiállítást (többek közt a vasútvonalról), és a völgy nyugati oldalán egy turistaházat is. Szezonban az állomásépületben büfé is üzemel.
Az állomásház oldalán turistatérképen láthatjuk a túralehetőségeket. A vasútvonal egyébként műemléki védettséget élvez, melyet természeti látványosságainak, ebből fakadó különleges helyzetének és különleges műtárgyainak köszönhet.

Public transport
A Győr-Veszprém vasútvonalon egyik megállója, így ezen a különösen látványos, viaduktokkal, alagutakkal, természeti látnivalókkal tarkított úton közelíthetjük meg. A vonatok sajnos nem járnak túl gyakran, de a főváros felől könnyedén belefér egy napba a környék meglátogatása.
