Az egykor erdészeti telepként üzemelő Rostalló ma a Pálházi Erdei Vasút egyik végállomása.
A vasútállomásról indulnak a 2 km hosszú, elsősorban gyermekeknek kialakított Páfrány tanösvény zöld páfránylevél jelzései is, amelyek a Bazsa-hegy kilátópontjain keresztül vezetnek vissza Rostallóra. A közelben találjuk a Daru-forrás faházikóval körbekerített medencéjét is.

A vasútállomás területe egész évben szabadon látogatható, a vonatok tavasztól őszig közlekednek.

- Rostallóhoz legközelebb a Kishuta, kőkapui elágazás buszmegállót találjuk.
- De Rostallót a kisvasút üzemelési idejében közvetlenül a Pálházai Erdei Vasúttal is elérhetjük.

- A Kishuta, kőkapui elágazástól a völgyben húzódó műutat (eleinte zöld kerékpáros, majd Z jelzés) kövessük (6,2 km, 92 m szintemelkedés).

- A kocsit a látogatóközpont mellett kialakított parkolóhelyeken hagyhatjuk.
