Der Bahnhof Bad Herrenalb wurde am 02.07.1898 eröffnet und ist seitdem der Endpunkt der Albtalbahn von Karlsruhe. Das Empfangsgebäude aus dem Eröffnungsjahr ist bis heute in vorbildlichem Zustand erhalten geblieben.
